Advent 2022 - Day Twenty Two

Allan is having another turn

He saw that it was quite a big door today so is rather excited.

He opens it up

...and looks a little stumped

They look like they might be parts for the car...

Advent 2022 - Day Eight

Allan is going to open today's door, but before that...

...they want to show you the scene with car.

Doesn't it look good?!

The boys turn their attention back to the calendar and look for door eight.

It is a big door, and Allan is excited to be opening it.

Hmmm...what is it boys.

Well, perhaps not what they expected!

Four wheels...but where is the vehicle?!

Well it is an indication of things to come boys, so don't be too disappointed!

Advent 2021 - Day 4

Day four already!  Rory and Henry are having a chat and Allan and Albert are looking for today's window.

I think they may have spotted it...

What are these two discussing I wonder?

Looks like Allen has found it and about to open it to see what is inside.

He pulls out a package

Oh, what is this?

It turns out it is part of the invention that attaches to the top of the town hall tower.

Advent 2021 - Day 3

Albert and Allen, the two Gotz boys, have come to see what Henry and Rory have been up to the last couple of days.  They had heard a rumour about 'Back to the Future' and wanted to know what was up.

Well it is the Advent Calendar this year.  Henry explains to them.

Can we have a go at opening it?  Albert asks.

Of course you can, replied Henry.

Albert looks for the third little door

He searches...

Aha, here it is down here.  He says as he gets down on the ground.

It would have to be down low!  Albert grumbles.  It would be much easier if I could bend my knees!

Albert opens the door and reaches in to get the little gift.

What is it?  Rory asks.

Hmmm.....

It is a speaker!

Albert puts it together and then places it on the scene next to Marty McFly.

That is pretty cool.  He says.

The boys all look at it.

They agree it is pretty cool, and imagine the music Marty is playing on his guitar.

Christmas Countdown - The Gotz Lads

Allan and Albert have chosen their waistcoats.

Allan chose a waist coat to go with his pale denim jeans.

Albert wanted something bright and colourful.

Exciting News!

Have you heard the news?  Emily asks.

What news?  Asks Molly.

A new family member is supposed to be arriving!  We haven't had a new family member arrive for over two years!  (The exception of course being Baby Natalie, mentioned in a previous post)

They discuss who it might be while waiting for the travel carriage to arrive.

Ooh look, here it is.  Molly says as she looks intently at the box.

Come on Henry, open it up.  Says Rory.

Henry starts cutting it open.

Carefully does it Henry.  Molly says.

The outer layer off, they start to open the travel box.

They look inside puzzled.

There is another carrier tube inside! Rory says.

Emily looks closely...

Do you think we are getting a sister?  Emily turns to ask Everlee Rose.

I heard the boys were getting a brother.  Everlee Rose tells Emily.

They will outnumber us if we are not careful!  Emily replies.

Rory wonders if he can lift up the tube to help whoever is inside out.

Emily and Henry thinks it is worth a try...

It must have worked as before long Henry is shaking hands and welcoming the new boy.

Everlee Rose and Molly say hello as he turns to them.

They can't wait to learn more about him.

The new boy's arrival photos.

I am sure he is going to fit in really well.
