Advent 2023 - Day Five

Today Summer is going to open the Advent Calendar.  She chose the gingerbread man dress to wear for Christmas.

She finds the door very quickly.

Opens it up

and finds three little mixing bowls inside.

Just what the baker needs!

She puts them on the counter for her.

It is starting to look like some cakes will be made soon!

 

St Patrick's Day Preparation - Part One

 

Three of the girls have started getting ready for St Patrick's Day by dressing in green.

Mary Ellen & Amber

Mary Ellen is a 1969 Dungarees Sasha by Trendon and she is wearing a smocked gingham dress.

Amber is one of the first Sasha dolls I got, and she came from Shelly of SashaDollsUK which is now sadly closed down.   Amber is a Large Head Yellow Eyed Pony Tail Gotz Sasha from the 1960s and she is wearing a smocked green dress.

Advent 2022 - Day Four

Albert looks nice and bright in his red waistcoat as he joins Gwilym and Henry for today's Advent Calendar opening.

He looks for number four and quickly spots it directly in front of him.

Opening the door

He wonders what is inside.

Oh goodness, exclaims Henry!

It's a tombstone!

Albert puts it down on the little scene.

Oh dear, poor Emmett Brown...

The boys feel a little somber today.

 

Advent 2021 - Day 3

Albert and Allen, the two Gotz boys, have come to see what Henry and Rory have been up to the last couple of days.  They had heard a rumour about 'Back to the Future' and wanted to know what was up.

Well it is the Advent Calendar this year.  Henry explains to them.

Can we have a go at opening it?  Albert asks.

Of course you can, replied Henry.

Albert looks for the third little door

He searches...

Aha, here it is down here.  He says as he gets down on the ground.

It would have to be down low!  Albert grumbles.  It would be much easier if I could bend my knees!

Albert opens the door and reaches in to get the little gift.

What is it?  Rory asks.

Hmmm.....

It is a speaker!

Albert puts it together and then places it on the scene next to Marty McFly.

That is pretty cool.  He says.

The boys all look at it.

They agree it is pretty cool, and imagine the music Marty is playing on his guitar.

 

Dressing for Spring/Easter

Everlee Rose, Mary Ellen, Molly and Summer are all dressed in their yellow dresses ready for Spring/Easter.

Advent 2020: Day Thirteen

Marcia was happy (despite her look!) to be the Sasha to represent Advent Day Thirteen.

She is wearing her favourite red jumper/sweater teamed with her red sandals and glittery santa hat.

She joins Albert and Rory in the decorating of the tree.

They think it is starting to look good and ask her what she thinks.

 

Advent 2020: Day Ten

Having chosen his Christmas waistcoat, this lad decided to venture outside as it was relatively mild and dry after a few very cold days.

He was easily distracted though when having his photo taken

Within a few minutes he had gone off exploring.
