Advent 2023 - Day Fifteen

We have Wren and Kiwi Sindy joining Emily to open the calendar today.

Always good to have friends open the calendar with you.

The girls look for the door.

It is just the right level for Wren to open it.

Oh what have you got there Wren?

Two little rabbits!

Aren't they cute?

Wren pops them on the scene by the little tree.

Just perfect.

I hope the little boy doesn't throw snowballs at them.

Thank you ladies for opening the calendar today.

Advent 2023 - Day Three

Emily welcomes you to Day three of the Advent Calendar openings.

She was excited when she say there was quite a large door for day three and couldn't wait to open it.

As she opens the door she wonders what it is.

Looks like a table or counter to display the cakes.

She puts it together

and then places it on the little scene.

The baker looks happy to have a display counter.

Emily has chosen this dress to wear for Christmas this year.

Thank you Emily for sharing today's calendar opening.

Pretty in Pink - Getting Ready for Valentine's Day

I'm hoping to get back into my blogging more this year...but haha where have I heard that before...however the intent is there, so we will see.  I am finding it hard to come up with the stories I used to, but hopefully that will come back to me as well.

Three pretty girls have got changed into pink dresses in anticipation of Valentine's Day

Summer has chosen this pretty floral smocked dress.

Sophia this one with white flowers

Everlee Rose this white and pink striped dress.

They look so pretty and are busy discussing whether they will get any Valentine Cards.

They really aren't sure, but hope so.

Emily and Molly have joined them, and they are wearing dresses I have knitted for them.

They are curious to know what the other three have been discussing.

A little while later...

They agree to pose for a photo...although the other three still seem distracted!

That's better girls.  You all look very pretty.

A New Top for Emily and Afternoon Tea with Friends.

Emily wanted to show off the lovely knitted top she got given from Jane

It fits so nicely and Emily thinks it is rather 'posh' as it is made from a lovely soft angora wool.

She didn't get to go to the afternoon tea party on Friday that Henry, Everlee Rose, Peggy Sue and some of the other family members did but she was thrilled to get a gift.

It was a lovely afternoon and we got to talk dolls, which is always good.

Some of the lovely Roche dolls belonging to Chris and Jane.

We had afternoon tea outside in the garden.

It was delicious!

Thank you Chris for a lovely afternoon, it was wonderful to catch up with friends after so long.

An Advent Afternoon Tea

Some of the Sasha Haven Children were delighted to be invited to an afternoon Advent Tea.

Gifts were given and Emily and Everlee Rose admire the lovely packaging...

They thought it was almost too good to open.

Henry joins the girls and they meet Stella who was one of the hosts of the afternoon.

Henry also was delighted to meet up with FredErik again but apparently the humans were far too busy talking to take many photos which was a shame for them, as they had a great time together and would have liked to have shared more photos.  Perhaps next time the silly grownups will get their acts into gear and take more photos.

Advent 2020: Day Six

Emily is delighted we have a lovely sunny day today after a very wet and blustery Saturday.

She has chosen this lovely red Christmas dress to wear to feature on Advent Day Six.

I wonder what these two are discussing.... or perhaps scheming?

Advent & Christmas 2025

I was seriously ill last year, and have been recovering all year, but fortunately although still not completely well, I am home this year so...
