Advent 2022 - Day Twenty One

On this shortest day of the year, Edward is going to open the calendar

The boys have a chat about what fun it has been so far.

They are wondering what they will find today.

So without further delay Edward reaches up to open the door

It is a bit of a stretch for him, but he manages just fine.

He pulls out the bag

and it looks like it might be some accessories for Clara

Her bag and hat, just what she needed!

Edward gives the accessories to Francis to put on her.

There she is all ready for the train.

Advent 2022 - Day Twenty

Francis is going to have another turn at opening the calendar.

He wonders what he is going to find in the calendar today.

Yesterday was pretty exciting with a horse!

He opens the door.

He has Clara Clayton!

Isn't she pretty?

He puts her down on the railway scene

She is waiting for the train.

Advent 2022 - Day Ten

Today it is Francis Fearless' turn to open  the calendar.

He finds door number ten quickly.

Opens it

Tadaa!

He pulls out and holds up the surprise.

Francis is thrilled to have got Dr Emmett Brown

He thinks he may be missing his hat...

but isn't too bothered, as he is sure it will turn up.  He puts him on the little scene with Marty.

There they are!

Elsewhere...

Rory is playing with the dog

and the other boys are playing with last year's scene.

The Advent Openings can also be seen on Youtube here.

Advent 2021 - Day 8

Francis Fearless turns up looking very debonair in his suit.  He is excited about it being his turn today to open the calendar.

He looks for the number eight with the help of the other lads.

There it is he points.

It is a big door, I wonder what can be inside?

Oh look, he says as he holds the item up.

A park bench!

I'll pop it down here, just outside the town hall.

Jennifer puts her books on the bench.

This is a fun set.  The boys all agree.

Advent 2020: Day Eighteen

The handsome Francis has found a smart Christmas waistcoat to wear.

That's better we can see your lovely eyes now.

Francis certainly knows how to dress well.

He joins Rory and Albert and admires the tree.

He thinks they have done a pretty fine job of decorating the tree.
