On the Sasha group on FB, they hold theme weeks, and last week it was Baby Sasha/Gregor. Of course I am slow to jump on the bandwagon, and hence doing this post the following week, as an attempt to start blogging again...no promises though! Anyway without further ado, I thought I'd show my babies...those who are long term followers of my blog both this one and my previous blogs, will know most of the babies, but there are a couple of new ones.
The girls.
Baby Amelia, one of the first babies I got is an early seventies sexed baby with raised eyelids.
Baby Grace, another of my first babies again early seventies sexed baby with raised eyelids.
Gotz Meike, whom I got at a Sasha Festival a number of years ago is still a minty baby.
Baby Natalie, my £1.30 charity shop bargain!
This little baby I bought in my quest for the 'perfect baby' for my little grand-daughter. She is lovely, but she just wasn't 'right' so has stayed with me. The collar on her dress is rather large, I might take it off and try to make it smaller. I changed her into another dress.
This one I made a few years ago with some vintage fabric I had.
I think it was the stray hairs on her face which is part of the reason I didn't think she was 'just right'.
This was another baby that I got hoping she would be suitable for my grand daughter, but when she arrived she had terrible falling hair. I should have sent her back, but accepted a small reduction in her price, and then spent more money getting her re-rooted. It is a lovely job, but again I ended up not feeling that she was 'just right' for my grand daughter...so the search continued.
The baby I got in the end was perfect, lovely soft well rooted hair.
I made a dress with matching bloomers for her, and she is now called Baby Lulu.
Next up we have the boys...
Cheeky lads they are! All wearing clothing I have made them.
Baby Alfie was one of my first babies, is an early boy with raised eyelids.
Baby Barney Bam Bam, usually referred to as just 'Baby' has led Peggy Sue a wild chase at times in the past...
Baby Pirate... wearing the outfit I made for the #dollsgonegothpirates challenge.
Lastly we have the Sailor gang.
Baby Gotz Linda in an outfit by Vicki, a lovely talented seamstress, - she made most of my Sailor outfits.
Gotz Lena in her original outfit
Lastly Ginger George, one of my first babies, wearing an outfit made by Vicki
