Advent 2022 - Day Three

Today Gwilym joins Henry to open the Advent Calendar.  He has chosen a lovely brightly coloured Christmas waistcoat.

He looks for the third door.

Finds it...

...opens it up.

Henry is excited to see what is inside.

The package looks interesting

What can it be?

Looks like sticks of dynamite!

That is certainly what it is.

They have put it on the scene.

What fun!

I don't think we ever watched the third Back to the Future...I can see we are going to have to...will have to ask Father Christmas for the Box Set I think!

 

Advent 2022 - Day Two

Day Two of the Advent Calendar opening and Henry has been joined by Caleb.

Caleb has chosen a lovely bright Christmas waistcoat to wear.

The boys look for today's door.

It didn't take long for Caleb to find it

He opens it...

and pulls out the bag.

Inside are three little objects.

The little rubber thingy goes on Copernicus's head

so that the helmet fits on.

They place him on the set.

Looking good...

I think the boys are quite happy with this so far. 

 

Advent 2022 - Day One

Welcome to this year's Advent Calendar opening blog posts.  Last year I petered out unfortunately and never finished posting the blog posts as I also did a video series, which I did complete.  This year I am going to probably just do blog posts.  Anyway without further ado, Henry would like to introduce this year's calendar!

Henry is very excited with this year's calendar which is furthering the 'Back to the Future' theme, and wow this one looks amazing!

There are various different scene sets that Henry has assembled.

This looks a bit like Tombstone.

A set building in process...

This one looks a bit like Sedona

And we have a train!

On to opening the first door...

Looks like Henry has found it.

Reaches down and starts to open it.

He has found a little dog behind the first door!

Very cute.

Now where to put it?  Down here he thinks.

Looks like he is having a wander around Tombstone.

Introducing (or rather reintroducing) my Sasha & Gregor Toddler Dolls.

I am lucky enough to have four lovely toddler dolls that I have had for a number of years now, fortunately purchasing them before the prices went crazy.  I guess if I were to sell them I'd probably get a good price for them, but at the same time I'd never be able to afford to replace them, so they are staying! 

From left to right we have:

Erica Michelle, Bonnie, Ollie and Claudius

Erica Michelle is named after Erica from NZ who used to own her and was a Sasha doll lover, and Michelle is my sister's name as she is a 'Mini Sister' as part of my 'Mini Me and Sister' that I dressed for the Dress a Sasha Competition in 2013!  Gosh I thought it was later than that.  You can read about it here: Dress a Sasha Competition  and here 'Dressing Up'

She is an 'Esther' from the Gotz Production in 2000.

Next up we have little Bonnie who I named after the lady I purchased her from.  She is wearing a dress my grandmother knitted for one of my childhood dolls many years ago. 

Bonnie is an Iona from the Gotz Production in 2001

Ollie is Henry's little brother.

He is an Ollie from 2000

Claudius is of course from my Sailor Gang and wearing his original outfit, minus his jacket.

He is from the 2001 Gotz Production dolls.

So there you have my Gotz Toddler dolls.

 

New Dresses for Molly and Everlee Rose

Back in June I got sent a huge box of 'Happy Mail' which contained clothing, dolls, shoes and other such wonderful goodies.  Among the clothing were some Sasha clothing, including these two gorgeous dresses that Molly and Everlee Rose have chosen to wear - shown below:

They don't have any labels to show who made them, but they are really beautifully made.  

The girls look so sweet in them.
